Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in sign repair and installation, preferably with a background in electrical sign maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical wiring, LED lighting systems, transformers, and mechanical components in commercial signage.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. 
• Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to sign repair and installation.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in varied weather conditions, climb ladders, and perform tasks that require physical endurance.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sign Installation & Repair: Perform repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a wide range of commercial signs, including illuminated, digital, and static signage.
• Electrical & Mechanical Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues with electrical components (such as LED lights, transformers, ballasts), wiring, and other mechanical systems within signs.
• Customer Service: Interact with clients to understand their sign issues, provide solutions, and ensure complete satisfaction with the service provided.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites, including the use of ladders, scaffolding, and bucket trucks for elevated work.
• Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and manage the tools, equipment, and supplies required for sign repair and installation.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use your problem-solving skills to identify issues with malfunctioning signs and determine the best course of action for repair.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, supervisors, and clients to ensure efficient and high-quality sign installations and repairs.
